Victoria Alumna OC2001

Victoria B (class of 2001) studied Economics at UCL, applying to the PwC graduate program in 2005 having served as student union president the year after her graduation.  She completed the three year graduate program to achieve an ACA qualification from the ICAEW, combining her studies with practical experience of financial audit, governance reviews and internal control health checks.

She has spent her entire career so far at PwC, and puts this down to the fantastic network of people, the extensive opportunities that it has provided, and the variety of work available.

Having moved out of the Audit practice into Consulting, Victoria spent five years working with Investment Banking clients, taking her on a two year secondment to New York, and travelling the world, including Hong Kong and Tokyo.  Having spent time on large regulatory compliance programs, she then focussed on data privacy and ethics as the GDPR came into force, before looking for her next challenge within the firm.

Victoria is now a Director and is Chief of Staff to the General Counsel and CRO of the UK firm, one of the most senior Management Board members.

Favourite memory of Colyton Grammar:  My favourite memory of Colyton Grammar was playing Sandy in Grease. The cast members really gelled, we had a huge amount of fun, and we dressed up in 1950s vintage clothing to perform to our family and friends.
